Psychotherapy after an Injury
You may feel as though your life will never return to its prior level of enjoyment after the onset or progression of a medical condition, chronic pain, or an injury or stroke.
Your sense of yourself and how you view the world may have shifted in a profound way, and this is to be expected. You may even experience an entire change in your ability to manage stress, family relationships, and your work. During these times, it can be very helpful to work with a therapist who also has working knowledge of brain and behavior relationships and health psychology. I am happy to help you with this adjustment to your new lifestyle post-injury or with a progressive medical condition. I provide both in-person and video or phone therapy if you are homebound. Video therapy is a great way to receive the treatments you and your family may need to move forward. |
